Writer: Simon KallaSimon Kalla

The Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic of Cameroon, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh will today Friday, 14, 2025 inspect key infrastructure projects in Douala.

Ferdinand Ngoh Ndoh will be accompanied by Public Works Minister, Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi, will visit the construction site at the city's eastern entrance, according to our source who preferred not to be named.

Ngoh Ngoh is also expected to inspect facilities and recent projects at the Autonomous Port of Douala. As in previous trips, he will meet with various political and socio-economic figures in the region.

Unconfirmed report say, Minister Nganou Djoumessi may visit the Dschang cliff site, where a landslide in November 2024 killed at least five people.

The Ministry of Public Works has initiated an urgent project to rehabilitate the strategic road linking the Littoral, West, and Northwest regions. It should be noted that this visit follows recent trips by Ngoh Ngoh to the Far North region and the Lekié department.

KNews gathered that these trips aim to prepare the strategic foundations of President Paul Biya’s potential campaign program by consolidating his electoral base in key strongholds such as the Far North, Lekié, and the Greater West Region.
