FAWONE Limbe III chapter facilitates back-to-school through donation of didactic materials, free birth certificates

Fako Women N’endinge (FAWONE) Limbe III chapter on Thursday, August 27, 2026, foster back-to-school in Limbe III Subdivision, Bimbia through donation of didactics and issuing of birth certificates to schoolchildren. The items comprises of bags, pens, pencils, rulers, sharpeners, erasers among others.
Speaking the brief event at Njalla Quan Sports Complex Man-O-War Bay, the chapter president of FAWONE Limbe III chapter, Odilia Engomi Ngotto Epse Habibu daughter from Dikolo village said, the initiative was a collaborative effort decided by the FAWONE women in Limbe III.
“The education committee of FAWONE chapter Limbe III noticed back-to-school project was top on their list that’s why we decided to embark on the project.” Odilia Engomi explained.
She urged the children to make maximum use of the items given to them and they should put more effort to learn and excel more than them.
She applauded her members who despite the financial difficulties they sacrificed their hard earned money to contribute to foster education in Limbe III
“Back-to school stress is everywhere. You people have your own responsibilities, but you people had to remove money from your pocket to send these kids to school” Odilia Engomi added.
On her part, the representative of the Mayor for Limbe III Council, Isabelle Epety Epse Kabello who doubles as the SG of FAWONE Limbe III chapter said they decided to choose Bimbia as beneficiary of their project to rejuvenate education in Limbe III Subdivision.
She stressed that one of the goal of FAWONE is to bring people together and develop the area and speak the gospel of peace and equally strengthen themselves financially, economically and otherwise.
In her intervention, Delphine Njikan, head mistress of Government Primary School Man-O-War Bay expressed joy with the items donated and encouraged the children their parents to use the items jealously while adding that it will go a long to reduce financial stress on the parents.
She also urged the parents in Bimbia to send their children to schools in Bimbia instead of Man War Bay which is more costly to them.
In reaction to the goodwill gesture, the beneficiaries appreciated the members of the FAWONE whose didactic material assistance will ease their school resumption despite of the financial difficulty their parents are facing. They promised to be hardworking in school in order to merit more gifts.
