Dr. Humphrey Ekema Monono has been appointed Registrar of the Cameroon Baptist University Institute (CBUI).
This is contained in press release issued Wednesday, June 17, 2026, signed by Dr. Teke John Ekema, the Executive President of the Cameroon Baptist Convention and Board Chair of (CBUI) the appointment takes effect from July 1, 2026.
According to the decision, the appointee shall be entitled to all rights, privileges, and benefits attendant to the position in line with applicable rules and regulations of the institution.
Dr. Monono is also expected to execute his duties in accordance with the statutes and regulations governing CBUI.
The Cameroon Baptist University Institute is the higher education arm of the Cameroon Baptist Convention, training students in theology, education, health sciences, and other disciplines.
It should be noted that Dr. Humphrey Ekema Monono is former Registrar of the Cameroon General Certificate of Education Board (CGCE).
