Douala: Student dies in phone dispute with classmate

A student named Dipoko Loic was struck to death by his classmate at Lycee Technique de Koumassi in Bali on Thursday, May 15, 2025. 

According to reports, the incident began when Adrien Bong allegedly seized Loic Dipoko's phone, sparking an altercation between the two.

Adrien later enlisted the help of friends, and the situation escalated into a full-blown fight. 

During the altercation, Adrien reportedly used a block to hit Loic on the head. Loic was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
