Douala III: Councillor succumbs to injuries after assault

 A municipal councillor in Douala III, Cameroon, has tragically lost his life after being assaulted by unknown gunmen. 

The Councillor whose name KNews got as Alain Armand Nouma was attacked in Logbaba and later succumbed to his injuries at Laquintinie hospital.

He was attacked by unknown armed individuals in Logbaba with machetes on Thursday March 27, 2025 and succumbed to his injuries at Laquintinie hospital on early today Saturday morning. 

His remains were later transferred to the Logbaba District Hospital morgue. 

What is even more shocking is that the attackers left Nouma's valuables, including his money and phones, untouched.

At press time investigations have been opened to ascertain the exact cause of his dead.
