The President of Limbe I communal campaign for the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) who doubles as Limbe City Mayor, Paul Efome L.M Ngale on Thursday, September 11, 2025, urged militants to put aside their differences and work together for a landslide victory for President Paul Biya in the October 12 poll.
He made this clarion call during the section's first preparatory meeting, dedicated to fine-tuning strategies for President Biya's campaign.
Paul Efome called on members of the campaign team, task force, section executive members, and municipal authorities to stand united behind the President.
“My wish is that we work collaboratively to give him a resounding victory like never before. It's only through collaborative effort that will give us the much-needed victory we're all clamoring for”,
“This election is not your own election. We have to prove to H.E Paul Biya that we're behind him by voting him massively." Paul Efome said.
He also advised militants to stay focused and mobilise more supporters for the CPDM come October 12. "It's time for us to rally behind President Paul Biya because he's the only genuine candidate.
Ludwig Makaka Williams, section president for CPDM Fako I A, said there's no time for infighting, but rather a need to push the common enemy away by rallying as one family to give the party's candidate a resounding victory in the October 12 election.
He emphasised the importance of unity to prevent opponents from dividing and defeating them. "This is a crucial election,"
"Everyone should speak in the same direction, so we can maintain Fako I A's highest voting record." Lidwig Makaka said.
WCPDM Vice-Section President for Fako I A, Pene Cornelia said, "We need peace. We hope Fako I A will perform as it has in the past. We should all work hand-in-hand for the October 12 election."
Ekema Roland Ngale, YCPDM Section President, highlighted that the Fako I A section comprises approximately 500 electorates with numerous establishments, making it a significant challenge.
“We've been working tirelessly. We've created task forces in our various subsections. Despite the fact that some subsections have been invaded by the opposition CPDM will still emerge victorious.” Ekema Roland said.
