The General Manager of Cameroon Development Corporation (CDC) Franklin Ngoni Njie has announced that the company is ready to pay arrears owed to deceased workers for the period 2018-2022.
He made this revelation in a communique issued on Thursday, February 27, 2025.
“The payment will be made to the designated heirs or next-of-kins of the deceased workers after presenting recipients and judicial court declaration as next-of-kind.” The communique noted.
Procedure for collection of arrears
-To facilitate the payment process, the CDC has outlined the following procedures: Obtaining Letters of Administration;
-Designated heirs or next-of-kins must obtain letters of administration from the competent courts in their respective jurisdictions.
-Requesting Payment: Heirs or next-of-kins must address a request for payment to the Director of Human Resources at the CDC Head Office in Bota, attaching original copies of the letters of administration and a bank account attestation.
-Document Submission: All documents must be deposited at the Secretariat of the CDC. The CDC's announcement is a significant step towards providing financial relief to the families of deceased workers.
The payment of arrears is a testament to the organization's commitment to supporting its employees and their loved ones.
It is essential for designated heirs or next-of-kins to follow the outlined procedures to ensure a smooth payment process.
