The Association of Student Journalists University of Buea, ASJUB, recently handed an award of recognition to the Station Manager of Christian Broadcasting Radio, CBS, Boris-Kaloff Batata for his significant role played alongside the staff of the radio in realizing their goals.
According the outgone ASJUB President Solomon Bila, the bearer of the goodwill message from the Association said;
“The Certificate of Recognition recognising the Significant role the Manager Boris-Kaloff Batata played alongside the staff of the Radio in realizing their goals.”
In an exclusive interview with KNews, Boris Batata said; the truth is, I was really surprised for the recognition because, I was basically doing what, I consider normal for. I am bent on seeing the younger generation breakthrough in the Media profession”,
“And collaborating with ASJUB as an individual and as an institution is one of those ways to make this dream come through”.
