The Movement for the Renaissance of Cameroon (MRC) has expressed its concern and support for youths in Cameroon who are facing numerous challenges.
In a statement, MRC President Professor Maurice Kamto congratulated the youths' determination to demand a better future while emphasizing the importance of preserving unity and peace in the country.
The MRC has taken note of recent events involving the Brigade Anti-Sardinard (BAS) and tensions surrounding the Youth and Civic Education Minister's visit to Brussels.
These incidents reflect the widespread frustration among Cameroonians, particularly youths, towards a political and social system that is failing to address their legitimate aspirations.
The MRC reaffirmed that every citizen has the inalienable right to express themselves and claim their rights within the framework of democratic principles.
While not judging the methods employed, the party acknowledged that these actions often stem from growing despair in the face of closed expression channels.
The MRC emphasized the need for every voice to be heard and for constructive solutions to be found to ease tensions and meet the population's expectations.
The party called on all Cameroonians, especially youths, to remain mobilized in their quest for a better future while prioritizing means that preserve national unity and stability.
The MRC's statement concluded by urging Cameroonians to unite towards a common goal: liberating the country from dictatorship and building a prosperous future for all .
