Cameroon’s Afro-pop artist Fhish is no more

The Head of Gophmen Mbonjem Lesly Aponglen, popularly known as Fhish is no more, reports say, he was involved in a fatal road accident on Friday December 24, 2021 on his way to Buea for a show. Mbonjem Lesly Aponglen popularly known by his artistic name Fhishofficial is a son of the North West Region of Cameroon-Awing. He is passionate, vibrant, energetic and charming singer and song writer with exceptional music skills. He had impressive talent not just in singing but in dancing which makes him a complete music artist. He commenced music a couple of years back in his hometown Bamenda being influenced by music artist like Wizkid, Chris Brown, X-Maleya amidst a multitude. For several years he limited his music in public joints, social gatherings, minor shows, cabarets and snacks. It wasn’t only till around 2018 the youngster music sensation decided to fully venture into music when he dropped his travelling bags to settle in the Economic Capital of Cameroon with the goal of full pursuing his music career as it has always been a passion. He saw his breakthrough during one of his performances when Manjong Music picked him up and eventually signed him under the label.

He subsequently released his first official project- music video titled BON BON SIFFLET a masterpiece produced by Pazzo aka Sangtum with video direction from the skills of videographer Adah Akenji Page , since then the talented artist has been on fire dropping mind blowing tracks. It was only around 2019 the Anti Kirikou crooner parted ways with Manjong Music to proceed as a solo independent artist. A dynamic, passionate and focused about making it big in the music scene he didn’t stop there he dropped two street bangers HOLLA HOLLA and ANTI KIRIKOU. In the year 2020 he Records another major step in his music career as he signs a collaborative partnership contract with ATM Entertainment after he dropped his debut EP I’M CAMEROON now available on all streaming platforms. His music has been widely consumed in both French and English communities of the nation with so much respect and admiration for his musical prowess. He was the winner of 237 big brother Cameroon 2021.
