The African Diaspora Impact Summit 2025, powered by African Women Leadership Organization (AWLO) in collaboration with strategic partners, will take place at Wembley, United Kingdom. Themed "Empowering Africa through Investment, Innovation, and Partnerships," the summit aims to connect African visionaries abroad with the continent's urgent developmental priorities.
Takusi Carine, UK Representative of the Cameroon Association of Media Professionals (CAMP), in the UK will be speaking at the summit. The event seeks to harness the collective power of the African diaspora and African leaders to co-create sustainable solutions, unlock transformative opportunities, and drive impact through cutting-edge financing models, cultural capital, and innovative strategies.
The summit will focus on key areas such as Diaspora Capital, Food and Health Security, Fintech/SMEs, Women Leading in Business, Export and Intra-Africa Trade, Rural Development, and Impact Innovation. It will bring together a diverse group of change-makers, including government leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, diaspora delegates, and development practitioners.
By facilitating strategic partnerships and investments, the summit aims to fuel Africa's sustainable growth and prosperity. With its comprehensive approach and influential lineup of speakers and attendees, the African Diaspora Impact Summit 2025 is poised to be a transformative event for Africa's development.
About CAMP
The Cameroon Association Of Media Professionals is a registered Non- Profit Organization with 20 years of active community service through the media.
It was formed on the 10th of December 2005 and has registration number 20/G.37/G.14/1/VOL8/T/BAPP in conformity with article 7 of law number 90/053 of 19/12/1990 relating to the formation and functioning of associations.
CAMP is specialized in the effective use of the media, mass communication and information technology for Education, Global information dissemination and access for development, Promoting Democracy and good governance, National capacity building, Promoting Community Health, Cultural preservation, Fight against social injustice and Poverty alleviation.
The professionalism of the staff is up to standard and it comprises rich brains of university lecturers and graduates from different state universities and the Diaspora with particular expertise in public relations and public performances, Advocacy, Human Rights and Democracy.
The association has as its main objectives, educating and sensitizing the public through documentaries, public performances, seminars and workshops on valuable issues, facilitating and improving on the working condition of media professionals in the nation and finally to improve and guarantee solid relationship and solidarity amongst members.
It is registered with headquarters in Limbe and has branches in 8 of the ten Regions of Cameroon.
According to the Executive Director of the Association, Tarhyang Enowbikah Tabe, the association is planning big towards the celebration of its 20th Anniversary in December this year.
