Friday, February 21, 2025 witnessed lucky winners of a pick-up car, 3 tricycles, MTN gadgets, food items among others following a campaign launched a month ago.
The campaign is tagged 237 MTN BOSS. This is one of MTN corporate social responsibility striving to better the lives of its subscribers.
According to MTN Brand and Communication manager, Claudelle Yougang since last year they have been celebrating with their customers and this year makes them 25 years of existence in Cameroon.
She explained that over the years, MTN has been bringing out prizes that benefit it customers and mostly for Cameroonians.
It is for this reason MTN introduced 237 Boss in Cameroon for it customers to be winners of tricycle, pick-up among other amazing prizes that will enable them become Bosses of their own lives. “We really strive to see every Cameroonian progress in life” Claudelle Yougang added.
She stressed that campaign is a reality and encourage all 13.1% million subscribers of MTN in Cameroon to come on board and dial the code *237# to be eligible to win.
“It’s true we’re getting into the last month of our campaign but who’s to say that they can’t win, they’re also unbeatable bonus that they can win every time they buy data, airtime, MoMo transaction they’ll win amazing prizes.” Claudelle Yougang explained.
She encouraged everyone to participate in the campaign. While stressing that the winners were not MTN employees nor their partners but actually subscribers of MTN.
“We really encourage everyone to participate in the campaign you’ll be one of our winners” Claudelle Yougang urged MTN subscribers.
To ensure sustainability, MTN decided to give commercial vehicles that can enable the winners to generate income for themselves. 237 vehicles have been put at this disposal of Cameroonians for this campaign.
So far, this is the 6th pick up and the 13th tricycle won that is coming to the South West Region.
Three types of transactions are valid for this giant campaign: buy a bundle by dialing *237#, make a payment through Momo account and thirdly you can do a money transfer or a cash out.
On his part, the winner of the pickup, Ibrahim Adamou expressed exceeding joy “I’m very happy since my father gave birth to me, I have never won this type of prize in my life. I thank Allah for given me this car”,
“I never dreamed of holding a key of a vehicle that is mine. I want to thank MTN Cameroon for this prestigious prize” he said.
