Dozens of youths have been introduced to basic skills in real estate development during a probuno training organised by Crown Homes Holding, a leading real estate venture in Cameroon.
The seminar on April 11, 2026, in Buea featured young enthusiasts being exposed to seasoned speakers in the fields of business and real estate provision.
The conference, guided by its visionary leader, Sir George, CEO of Crown Homes Holding, is a platform to give back to the community while empowering students with useful information that may, over time, serve as a foundation for their business.
George who prides himself as Africa's most sought-after real estate consultant is a household name in the business nationwide. He said the knowledge was crucial for the students at this level.
"We don't want people to start making real estate investments from the boardroom. While you are a student they need to know that such a day will come when they'll have to make real estate investments", he said.
He hopes that these basic efforts will compound to transform the perspectives towards real estate development in our context.
He cautioned participants that it was important to build an investment portfolio within the real estate industry first before seeking comfort.
George further outlined that there were several opportunities for young people in real estate development. This he said they could exploit by being associates of Crown Homes, to earn commissions and develop themselves.
In the course of the conference, the African School of Estate Business was launched to serve as a corporate certification institution to monitor, follow up and develop real estate agents. This adds to other efforts by Sir George to mentor Africa's upcoming real estate developers.
