Buea: 21st motorized infantry brigade gets new Commander

The 21st motorized infantry brigade in Buea, South West Region, Cameroon now has a new Commander, Colonel Enye'e Meka Manuel was appointed recently by the President of the Republic to spearhead the activities in Buea. 


He was installed into his functions by Brigadier General Eba Eba Benoît on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Bongo square.


The colorful ceremony that took place at the Buea Bongo Square ceremonial ground stand where 

Elements of the 21st motorized infantry brigade in Buea came out ready to welcome their new Commander, Colonel Enye'e Meka Manuel and to bid farewell to the outgoing Commander, Colonel Louis Onabelle 


The occasion equally gave the military men and women from the different regiments to showcase their capabilities through a military march past. 


The New 21st motorized infantry brigade Commander in Buea is taking functions from his predecessor Colonel Louis Onabelle who has been transferred to other functions at the Ministry of Defense in Yaounde.


Colonel Enye'e Meka Manuel promised to execute his functions outright. He is married with children.


The event witnessed present of administrative officials, military personnel, civil society actors and traditional rulers.
