In a video that has gone viral on social media, the Cameroonian artist, Longue Longue, says he is ready to travel to support the Head of State, President Paul Biya in his 8th term campaign bid provided that Eto'o provides him with a plane ticket.
In this video published on social networks, Longue Longue directly challenges Samuel Eto'o, president of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) and vice-president of Paul Biya's campaign committee in Ngambé, Littoral region his native village.
This statement has left Internet users in shock with many accusing Longue Longue of opportunism and political fickleness.
It should be noted that in 2018, he sang alongside opposition leader Maurice Kamto, and that he once called on Paul Biya to step down. Today, his rapprochement with the presidential camp surprises many. It remains to be seen whether Eto'o will answer the call.
