The newly crowned Chief of Bonabile village in Limbe III Subdivision, Fako Division, has been urged to ensure his subjects are law-abiding, preserve social peace, unite all factions of the population, and collaborate with the administration by reporting suspected criminals to local authorities and law enforcement.

The DO of Limbe III, Dr. Ndofi Ngangeh Isidore, was speaking while crowning HRM Manga Kalla Quan Albert as the new traditional ruler of Bonabile village on Saturday, 29, November 2025, at the Bonabile Chiefdom square.

According to Cameroon chieftaincy law of 5 July 1977 and decree No 77/245 organising chiefdoms in Cameroon, the DO said as an auxiliary to the administration, HRM Manga Kalla Quan Albert has the duty to inform the hierarchy regularly about all activities taking place in his village.

He equally urged the new chief to launch a fight against stray animals and maintain proper hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness in his chiefdom to ensure a commodious living environment for the population.

The DO called on the cosmopolitan population of Bonabile to learn to cohabit with one another because Cameroon is a multicultural nation.

He called on other traditional rulers of Limbe III Subdivision to advice and help Manga Kalla Quan Albert to succeed in his challenging task.

“Chief Manga Kalla Quan Albert to be a good chief you should be ready to listen to advice, learn from others and use your vitality positively. Do not forget that you need the support of every member of the community to succeed in your tasks”,

“Your majesty, while extending to you my sincere congratulations, I declare you officially installed into your functions as the third class chief of Bonabile village,” the DO proclaimed.

The President of Limbe Chief’s conference, HRM Epupa Samuel Ekum, called on the inhabitants of Bonabile to give the new chief the support he needs.

He urged the new chief to work with everybody without discrimination, since his village is a cosmopolitan one.

In his intervention, the Chairman of the Organising Committee who doubles as Chairman of Bonabile Traditional Council, Notable, Dr. Joki Manga called on the new Chief not only to preserve traditions and customs but also to adapt them to the realities of modern life.

“We expect you to be a father to the fatherless, a defender of justice, a custodian of peace, and a bridge between generations. To our people, I say: let us rally behind our new chief”,

“May we stand united, in respect and loyalty, so that together we can build a future of harmony, prosperity, and cultural pride.” Notable Dr. Joki Manga said.

He is optimistic that this coronation mark the beginning of greater blessings for Bonabile community and for Cameroon as a whole.

Reacting shortly after his crowning ceremony to HRM Manga Kalla Quan Albert said he would work with all segments of the population of Bonabile so as to be able to adequately harness the full potentials of the village.

HRM Manga Kalla Quan Albert was unanimously chosen as the new chief of Bonabile by all the kingmakers of Bonabile village. This was after successive consultative talks convened and chaired by the former DO for Limbe III Epole Ewane Verklin.
