Biaka Group spices-up fifth Wotutu-Ewongo football tourney

Biaka Group renowned for its educational excellence, healthcare services and community support, has penned down a mouthwatering partnership with the promoter of Wotutu-Ewongo football tournament, Edwin Eselem, pledging to bring in substantial innovations in this year's holiday jamboree.


As part of the collaboration, the Biaka group will offer cash prizes to the best teams in the male and female categories of the 2025 edition of the tournament which kickoff on June 22 and ends on Sunday August 31 with the championship game. Sports, particularly football, will offer a positive outlet for energy, creativity, and talent.


Partnering with the Wotutu-Ewongo Football Tournament, Biaka Group is committed to providing a platform for young people to engage in healthy competition, develop their skills, and build their self-esteem.

About the Wotutu-Ewongo Football Tournament


The Wotutu-Ewongo Football is an annual football competition bringing together the top football teams of the Wotutu-Ewongo villages in the Bonjongo court area during the holiday season.


The tournament was created out of the need to occupy the youth during their vacation but most importantly preach peace and social cohesion after the community was badly by the Anglophone crisis.


Now in its milestone fifth edition, the tournament uses the convening power of sports to change lives and uplift the community.
