In a shocking revelation, 25-year-old Mbuh Taforluc was arrested by law enforcement agents for trafficking human bones and body parts recently.
The arrest came after multiple complaints of grave desecration in five different villages.
According to Police Commissioner Longo Elobe Valery, Mbuh confessed to exhuming a 2023 burial site in Awing, Santa Subdivision, Meza Division, North West Region, Cameroon with the help of an accomplice.
This, however, was not an isolated incident, as the suspect admitted to engaging in similar activities on previous occasions.
Mbuh revealed that the stolen bones were used in the production of "Kayu", a local drug consume by youths sparking widespread outrage.
Authorities have launched a thorough investigation to identify and apprehend other accomplices within the trafficking network.
