FECAFOOT’s Electoral Commission upbeat for a free, fair elections

Barely six days to the long awaited FECAFOOT Presidential election slated for Saturday December 11, 2021.


The Electoral Commission head by Magistrate Gilbert Schlick and team clarify the media and the Cameroonian public opinion on Tuesday December 1, 2021 at the Cameroon Football Federation head office at Tsinga, in Yaounde that all is set for a successful election.

It should be noted that discussions were centered around three main points. Firstly, on the reinstatement of the Seventh candidate Maboang Kessack by the electoral commission upon the observation of his documents.

"The candidacy of mister Saint Fabien Mvogo, Alex Owona and others was a decision passed by the Cameroon football federation ethics committee following issues of morality judged not being acceptable. Thereby urging us to implement the decision with immediate effect."


"I wish to congratulate my fellow colleagues of this commission for the impeccable motivation and commitment in ensuring that the elections at the divisional, regional levels be a success. But, we have to remain focus and objective as the most important part of election comes up bearly ten days from now".

Also, it was officially made public by the commission head that, the fecafoot Presidential elections will be broadcasted live come December 11. To that effect, media practitioners were invited to subscribe to the accreditation process that is slated to go official on December 2, 2021.


However, 76 delegates will be expected to accomplish their voting rights with regards to the December 11 Presidential elections at FECAFOOT. These persons expected to vote are the 60 delegates voted at the regional levels, 10 professional clubs representatives and 6 representatives of the corporal disciples.
