Akere Muna Endorsed: Guns for youth, voters registration ahead of presidential elections

With the 2025 presidential elections on the horizon, political parties in the nation are already electing their candidates for who gets the tough job at the Unity Palace.
It is in this light that a meeting was held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the Eta Palace hotel Buea to install a regional body to ensure they call on the public to massively rejester on the electoral list.
Amongst those going in for the election is Barrister Akere Muna, who was ensored by the UNIVERS party of Professor Nkuo Mvondo's, with the backing of the UPC, PAP, and various other civil society groups.
Amongst those in attendance were Dr. John Ako John, Bar Abgor Balla, Mac Anthony Akuhmbon, youth leaders and civil servants who came together to discuss and stradgize how their candidate will emerge champions.
According to Victor Samkor, the National Coordinator of the NOW Movement, Barrister Akere Muna is a choice candidate for the job because he is the only one who has so far promised a transitional government after one mandate at the unity Palace looking to make Cameroon a stable country and do what he has been doing for other countries especially fighting against corruption amongst others.
Dr. John Ako John who is a vocal academia called on members to ensure the population massively rejester on the electoral list and don’t give into the popular slogan that "Their votes does not count." because it does.
He further highlighted the reason why they must educate their communities about the choice of Akere Muna.
“For those who know, I am a man who makes important choices and I want all the youths to rally behind Bar Akere Muna because he is the hope that Cameroon has, youths you make 60% of the population”,
“so don't make the 40% who are fit to be ancestors govern you for another 7 years, the time is now and the hope is now. "Dr John Ako John added.
The Assembly also saw the installation of the Youth taskforce of the region who have as a mission to ensure all eligible voters in the 6 division of the region get registered on the electoral list.
Akere who will visit Buea in the days ahead and mobilization on polling stations on the election day for observers to ensure there is transparency in the vote counting process.
To this effect a 10 man delegation was created headed by Tambe Henry to ensure the much needed change expected by the country becomes a reality.
Tambe who has being a youth leader from Manyu to other areas in the country and beyond says the task given to him is timely as he is no stranger to the field.
“Every Cameroonian youth is fade up with the current system and that is why we must get registered and ensure we cast our votes for Akere Muna to bring that change we need in this country." Tambe Henry stated.
With the Electoral list to be closed in the months ahead and the elections coming up in October 2025, militants, supporters and sympathizers of Bar
Akere Muna hope he becomes the third president of Cameroon and change the educational system which to them is outdated and not functional and make Cameroonians enjoy the blessings the land has been blessed with.
