After Oct 12 poll: CPDM scribe calls for calm, urges citizens to be law-abiding

The Secretary General of the Central Committee, National Campaign Coordinator and President of the CPDM National Campaign Committee Jean Nkuete has called for calm and urges citizen to be law abiding as they wait for the official results to be proclaimed by the Constitutional Council.


He made this clarion call on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 in a communique. “The Constitutional Council is the only body that can announce the results of the presidential election.” Jean Nkuete said.


He reminds citizens to be law abiding and urged party militants and all our compatriots to continue to be good citizens and patriots. 


Jean Nkuete urged everyone to continue with their lives calmly and peacefully, while waiting for the Constitutional Council to officially announce the election results.


He congratulated citizens for showing to the entire world their political maturity and how dedicated they are to the values of democracy, peace, freedom and the institutions of the Republic. 


CPDM scribe also commends the commitment of all those involved in the electoral process, whose work enabled the smooth running of the vote, particularly the defense and security forces who, under the supervision of the administrative authorities, professionally and loyally supervised the electoral process. 


The Secretary General of the Central Committee, CPDM Campaign Coordinator, particularly thanks the voters who chose the CPDM candidate. 


“This shows clearly that they want stability, peace, and the consolidation of national unity. It also shows that we are already taking significant steps to the progress and the emergence of our country”,


“At a time when some people are trying to cause confusion and trouble, the Secretary General of the Central Committee, CPDM Campaign Coordinator, calls on everyone to stay calm, think about the situation, and act responsibly.” Jean Nkuete said.


He added that CPDM, it is the only political party able to have representatives in all polling stations in Cameroon and abroad. 


“CPDM is the only political party that can provide reliable and trustworthy information about how the election has been conducted everywhere. In spite of that, it respects the institutions and complies with the law.” Jean Nkuete added.
