In a recent interview with The Express newspaper, Ntumfon Barrister Ndangoh Tah Calvin, a prominent figure of the Social Democratic Front (SDF), affirmed the party's unwavering preparedness to participate actively in the upcoming presidential elections in Cameroon.

He emphasised that the electoral process has been duly respected and that the government has convened the electorate in accordance with electoral laws, marking a timely and appropriate step towards the elections.

Ndangoh Tah Calvin highlighted that the SDF has been extensively preparing for this crucial moment.

The party has selected its presidential candidate through an extraordinary national convention and has engaged in nationwide consultations, with the national chairman, Hon Joshua Osih touring various subdivisions to listen to the concerns of the people.

The party, as he said has also been diligently recruiting over 80,000 polling agents, aiming to have representation in more than 75% of polling stations across the country, ensuring the security and integrity of votes.

The SDF official underscored the party's commitment to securing votes and defending the electoral process, especially in regions like the North West and South West, where the party has historically faced challenges.

He stressed that the party's strategy involves being present in all polling stations to prevent vote theft and manipulation, asserting that the SDF has never lost an election in Cameroon due to lack of presence but rather because of systemic issues.

Ndangoh Tah Calvin called on the youth and supporters, particularly in the North West and South West regions, to mobilise and actively participate in voting.

He urged voters to focus on political programs rather than personalities and emphasized the importance of voting as a means to effect change and challenge the status quo.

The party's message is clear: victory is achievable through collective effort and determined participation.

Addressing the broader political landscape, Ndangoh Tah Calvin reflected on past electoral challenges, noting that the SDF remains the main opposition party and emphasizing the need for a united front to bring about meaningful change.

He condemned the system that has marginalised certain regions and called for a peaceful, legal approach to power transition, advocating for votes over violence.

Ntumfon Barrister Ndangoh Tah Kevin reaffirmed the SDF's readiness to contest the upcoming elections and expressed confidence that with widespread participation, the party can secure victory and promote a new era of leadership in Cameroon.
