@10 anniversary in music: Alpha Beta boss, Salatiel rekindles peace in Buea

Cameroon’s very own Salatiel Livenja Bessong popularly known as Salatiel, ‘High man general’ among others celebrated his 10 years anniversary in music during a concert on Friday February 14, 2025 at Molyko Omnisport stadium dubbed ‘The journey’.


Salatiel has worked his way into the game and earned his respect. Over the years, he has paid his dues to society, and now, society is paying him back. 


The concert brought together huge man crowd shows the respect he commands, and the lineup of stars joining him is proof of hard work, consistency, and patience. 


The ‘High man general’ was not alone on stage. He was joined by some of the biggest names in Cameroonian music, including Petit Pays,Tzy Panchako, Blaise B, Seppo, comedian Caro, Richard and a host of others.


Adding to the spectacle, the South West dancers united also took the stage as one to share love and unity through dance.


On his part, the Chief Executive Officer, CEO of Alpha Better Record, Salatiel Bessong, thanked the population of Bue municipality for their massive turnout to commune with him for his 10 years anniversary in music. He opined that it is his own way of giving back his community. 


He encouraged upraising arts never to give up in their dreams in life, he used his life to illustrate where he comes from mess Tiko Subdivision to the glob scene.


“Keep hustling, don’t give up. Your hustle go one day pay” Salatiel Bessong told his fans while on stage.


Speaking shortly after the event, the South West Regional Delegate of Arts and Culture, Itoe Doris epse Angoula said it has always been her dream to see local artists come back to South West Region and display their talents.


“I’m so delighted, I’m feel with joy, to have our local artists who had abandoned South West because of the crisis come back rekindle the flame of peace and sustainable development”. 


“If you look at the population who turned out today you’ll notice that more than 5000 youths gathered to watch our son Saletiel present the beauty of his music”, 


“What a way of giving back, to reinstate peace in South West Region. I’ll encourage him and thank him on behalf of the Minister of Arts and Culture.” Itoe Doris said.


She encouraged other local artists to emulate this gesture and come back home and reinstate peace through the talents God has given them.


Meanwhile, Nghateng Annang promoter of culture and youth development specialis they all gathered to celebrate the impact of someone who left from Tiko to the global stage and who has been encouraging other artists to grow.
