Stakeholders of Tiko Council met on Thursday January 30, 2025 to establish communal platform for civil status affairs in the municipality.
The meeting brought together key actors to address the challenges related to civil registration and to ensure that every citizen, especially children, has proper legal identity documentation.
This is part of ‘my name’ campaign only for children aims to streamline birth registration, clarify legal procedures, and ensure that no child is left without a birth certificate.
Tiko Council is committed to work with stakeholders and the community to make civil registration more accessible and efficient.
The meeting was attended by the representatives from the Tiko Council, led by the Fourth Deputy Mayor, Waindim Rudolf and Secretary General, Eri Ita Tatason, Chief of court of first instance Tiko and other key actors committed to improve civil status registration process in the municipality.
