The maiden edition of the battle of barbers Africa is planned on Sunday October 31, 2021 at Dream Lounge Buea.
Speaking to KNews the CEO/ Founder Walcutz De Barber said, barbers have never had recognition, this idea is aimed at showing to the community that they are relevant in the society. “We want our community to have a different perception of barbers after the event” he added.
Barbers being community builders who make people look good, young people are encourage to show interest in the profession.
The one day Barbers Shutdown will feature incredible display of Creativity, professionalism, barbering evolution in a barber battle of three categories for men and one for women, educational seminar by some top barbers, display of vendors booths, product demonstration, platform artist, comedians among others.
It should be noted that, the best barber will grab FCFA 150,000, runners up will receive FCFA 100,000 and third person FCFA 50,000
Walcutz De Barber however invited the general public to partners with him, support and come out massively on Sunday to attend the event. He equally called on beauticians to come and showcase their aesthetic knowhow.
