Mayor Mbwaye Florence Eposi, who is today known as the Pathfinder Mayor and Iron Lady of Limbe, was officially sworn in at the court room of the Limbe Court of First Instance on August 25, 2020 two months after her brilliant election on June 25, 2020 as Mayor and as Civil Status Registrar.
She took over from late Rodanny Mbua who died after a brief illness at a Douala-based hospital. Mbwaye Eposi Florence was born on the 24 of March 1962 at Bokwoango, Buea. She attended G.S Bokwoango and obtained her First School Living Certificate in 1976.
She equally attended the GTTC Kumba where obtained her Teacher's Grade Two Certificate 1984 and proceeded to the Teacher's Grade 1 Certificate in 1991.
From then she has been a teacher in several schools namely G.S.C Mile 1, G.S Bonadikombo, G.N.S Mile 1, VOCAST Muyuka, GTC Kumba and GHS Limbe from 2000 till her retirement in 2022.
She started politicking under the CNU Party and later the CPDM in 1982. She has moved from cells to branches, and is no small name in contemporary politics.
The Pathfinder Mayor has equally held several political positions such as Section Vice President for WCPDM from 2013 to 2021.
She has been municipal councillor/secretary of education committee from 2013 and vice president of United City of Cameroon of the Southwest region from January 2020 to present and now, Lord Mayor of Limbe I since June 2020.
Apart from politicking, the Limbe I first female Mayor loves catering services and outreach programs to the needy and under privileged.
She is also a staunch Christian and current Congregational Chairman of the Presbyterian Church in Bonadikombo mile 4 Limbe and equally a Synod delegate at the Synod office, a board member of lCT Board of directors.
