The Honorable Member of Parliament for Fako East constituency, Hon. Etombi Ikome Gladys on Monday August 16, 2021 handed the keys of eight chambers toilet to the Principal of Saker Baptist College, SBC Ghawi Shomsi as part of her parliamentary outreach for August.
"Here are the keys of the renovated toilet, am handing to the Principal. Mr. Principal make good use of those toilets to ensure they're always clean." Hon. Etombi Ikome stated.
Quizzed why carrying out such gesture to renovate the school toilet, she said her love for the girl child and equally to make life better for Saker Baptist College today than she had. "You know that cleaniness is next to Godliness and health is wealth. To be healthy you need good and clean toilet." She emphasised.
Hon. Etombi Ikome encourage the management of the school to ensure the toilets are clean at all times and urged the students to know the value of keeping the toilets clean. " When you come to Saker you're not just taught academic, it's a holistic institution and I believe that the school has been doing wonders in that direction and they'll continue to do that. Hon. Etombi said.
On his part, the Principal of Saker Baptist College, SBC Ghawi Shomsi appreciated Hon. Etombi Ikome for the largesse to renovate the institution "I am so happy it's a good thing that she has renovated this toilet so our students can use it and enjoy the facilities." Ghawi Shomsi said.
