The General Manager of Cameroon Development Corporation, CDC, Franklin Njie has been installed as a senior notable in the Limbe Paramount Chiefdom.
He was installed into his new function on Monday November 28, 2022 at the Paramount Chief Palace in Mbonjo in Limbe III Subdivision by the Ex- President of Limbe Chief’s Conference, HRH Chief Samuel Epupa Ekum.
During the installation ritual HRH Chief Samuel Epupa called on the gods of the mountain ‘Efasa Moto’ and of the sea ‘Nyango na Mwana to protect Franklin Njie as he shepherd the affairs of CDC.
“In CDC we heard there’s infighting. Fight for your own son, there are a lot of people who’re envying his position. It’s his rightful place, Peter Mafanyi Musonge worked and retired, Late Henry Njalla Quan worked and died. They brought him to replaced him”,
“God in heaven as we gathered here today, God give him wisdom like King Solomon of old to govern his people. Those fighting him, fight them on our behalf” HRH Chief, Samuel Epupa prayed.
In his Intervention, HM John Elufa Manga Williams said the title is for those who have shown interest to work with the Royal Chiefdom of Limbe. The recognition also took into consideration Njie efforts to sustain the CDC and the economy of the region.
He urged him to take his new role seriously and bring new impetus into the palace. He counted on his availability and the GM's readiness to assist the palace when need arises.
Reacting shortly after his recognition, Franklin Njie expressed his willingness to serve and work towards the realization of targeted goals.
“I want to use this opportunity to thank the Limbe Chiefdom for this honor. I think it’s an obligation for two reasons; CDC that I represent is a tenant to this municipality for more than half a century now”,
“Landlord and tenant for such a long time bears testimony of something that binds the two together, otherwise in the world we live in which there’s bound to be problems, misunderstanding, querying among others, I think CDC has been very comfortable in this municipality and we want to thank you for the hospitality that we enjoy in this municipality.” Franklin Njie explained.
Franklin Ngoni Njie was appointed a senior notable by HM John Elufa Manga Williams on Monday September 19, 2022.
