German Football Academy Berolina Stralau begins scouting for young talents in Cameroon

BY A CORRESPONDENT Renowned German Football Academy Berolina Stralau will in the days ahead roll out plans to harness young football talents in Cameroon so that they can put their God-given talents into real use for a better livelihood.


This revelation was made known to The Star by coordinators of Berolina Stalau Cameroon (BSC) an affiliate of Belorina Stralau-Berlin Germany.

In this connection, a test game to detect young talents from underprivileged children has been programmed to take place on Thursday December 23, 2021 at the Limbe Community Field beginning 3:00 pm.


Speaking to The Star, the assistant coordinator of the project, Prince Fotabong Chris, explained the concept in this manner ‘‘Berolina Stralau Cameroon (BSC) is still at this level a community based organization and after the football game that will take place in Limbe, we shall prepare a report and send to our mother organization and later proceed to register it with ANAFOOT and FECAFOOT.

Belorina Stralau-Berlin Germany is the mother organization that has mandated us to do this activity. The coordinator of the project is Forcha Loveline.’’ Prince Fotabong added.

Quizzed on the number of kids to participate in the maiden edition of the tournament, he revealed that over 40 kids have been registered and they will form two teams of twenty players each.


During the game, talents will be identified and the report will be sent to the mother organization. From every indication, the project is being seen as a stepping stone for greater future football stars.
