The Committee of Good Friends, New Town Limbe, on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, donated two benches to one of its patrons, Otto Musuka, in appreciation for the financial, moral, and educational support he has given to the group.

Speaking during the brief event at the Limbe City Council Technical Service in Mile 2, Limbe, the President of the Committee, Ashu Joke Paul, said the group decided in November 2025, after their uniform launch, that this year they would embark on numerous projects in line with their objective of giving back to the community.

Paul Joke said the benches will go a long way in serving the entire Limbe municipality, and the gesture aligns with the Limbe City Mayor’s vision of “Building Together.”

He further cited some of the projects the group has carried out, including support for the Christ Embassy project in February this year, support for PC New Town last year, and annual back-to-school donations.

He used the opportunity to announce that in September 2026, the group will donate didactic materials to over 100 schoolchildren at G.S. Motowoh. On his part,

Otto Musaka expressed joy at the donation and pledged his total support to the group whenever the need arises. He urged other groups to emulate such gestures.

On Saturday, July 25, 2026, Committee of Good Friends rallied themselves to rehabilitate the road to their meeting house. According to the president Joke Paul is part of their social responsibility to give back to the community.
