Back-to-school 2022/2023: Fako I B CPDM succor IDPs with school materials BY SIMON NDIVE KALLA

Over 70 pupils Internally Displaced, IDPs schoolchildren living in Limbe II municipality have benefited from pedagogy materials donated by the Fako I B section of the CPDM to reduce the financial burden on their parents this 2022/2023 school year, especially with the socioeconomic hardship plaguing the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon.

The handing ceremony took place at the Ngeme village community hall on Wednesday September 21, 2022 was attended by the Mayor of Limbe II municipality, executive members of Fako I B as well as parents and teachers of the beneficiaries.

Addressing the population, the president of Fako I B who doubles as first deputy Mayor of Limbe II council, Mbai Ephraim called on parents not to relent their efforts in assisting their children have a sound and wholistic education. He added that his wish is to see that the pupils are leaders of the next generation and top administrative officials.

On his part the Mayor of Limbe II municipality, HRH Chief Woka Daniel Ndive lauded the initiative of Fako I B and called on them not to relent their efforts as actors in pursuing the objective of the milienium development goals, with the right of the education of a child at the forefront.

Chief Woka Daniel stated that for his entire life time that they have been doing politics, he has never witness this type of gesture, he however appreciated the Section president Mbai Ephraim

He added that for the Section President to have thought of the IDPs in the Limbe ll is a credible initiative, that next time they are going to join hands to support him in a grand style.

Chief Woka Daniel encouraged the young children that they should not lose hope, that the future is still bright that they should focus on their education.

He also thank God that the CPDM Fako I B for providing the basic needs to facilitate back to school in his municipality.

Parents and guidance of these children, the Mayor appreciated and courage them for sending their children to school within this difficult financial period.

The beneficiaries were very happy and promised to put the gifts in good used despite coming three weeks late to the resumption date of the current school year.

The event which is first of its kind in Fako I B was graced with the presence of the Limbe City Mayor, Paul Efome L.M Ngale who double as a militant of Fako I B. He promised Fako I B for a bigger and better event come next school year.
