The population of Bonduma Gate in Buea, south west region of Cameroon woke up to a startling revelation on Tuesday January 24, 2023 as the lifeless body of 61-year-old Mama Becky was found in her room.
According to reports, she was found hanging from a rope attached to the ceiling. It has not been officially ascertained if she committed suicide, but from observation, it gives one the impression that she hanged herself.

As at press time, the state counsel, medical doctor and some security forces visited the scene of this tragic incident.
While the woman has been buried, a little girl who used to live with her has been taken to the police station for questioning.
