The Divisional Officer for Limbe I Subdivision who also doubles as Board Chairman of the Limbe I land consultative Board, Moni Innocent Nanje, has cautioned the population of Limbe I Subdivision to desist from wanton sales of land.
Moni Innocent says all stakeholders that is; chiefs, surveyors, middlemen, land mongers involved in this wanton activity, shall be personally liable before the competent jurisdiction.
He made this clarion call on Thursday, November 10, 2022 in a communique issued to the press.
Nanje explained that he learnt many have embarked on illegal sale of land and uncontrollable planting of pillars in some of the villages concerned.
“Some ill-intentioned individuals, have take advantage of the recent cancellation of the prefectoral orders that homologated some Chiefs within Limbe I Subdivision are now involve in wanton sales of land”. Nanje explained.
Moni Innocent insist that any land demarcation and pillar planning exercise has not been scheduled nor authorised within the entire Subdivision in the areas and zones concerned.
He counts on the understanding, responsibility and collaboration of all sundry to flush out individuals with such intension to sell Limbe I land.
We learnt, those termed ‘fake chiefs’, the national emblem in their chiefdoms have been pulled down.
