The Catholic family in Cameron, especially Buea Diocese and Christian faithful of the Holy Trinity Parish Bota are still in shock and disbelief following the death of Rev. Fr. Etienne Khumbah Ntellah at the Buea Regional Hospital on Sunday September 19, 2021 at about 9:45pm.
Before his dead he was curate of Holy Trinity Parish Bota Limbe and has served as priest for 46 years.
The Rev. Etienne was born on December 26, 1948 in Fontem. He attended St. Joseph's College Sasse, Buea between 1964 - 1968.
In 1969, he obtained a degree in Philosophy (B. Phil) from the SS. Peter and Paul Major seminary, Ibadan and in 1972, he obtained another one in Theology (BD) from the Bigard Memorial Seminary, Enugu.
He was ordained as Deacon by Bishop Awa in 1974. The same Bishop later ordained him Priest at St. Clare's Parish, Fontem. He has served in several capacities as Parish Priest. Since 2002.
